We are excited to share a fantastic project supported by The Cause, in partnership with Youth Moves This initiative provided young people with a unique opportunity to engage with their community, meet key figures, and highlight the great work happening across South Bristol.
The project, titled ‘Community Voices’, was designed by the cause Bristol CIC to empower young people to tell their own stories. It also helped them develop new skills in using camera and audio equipment, as well as editing software, boosting their confidence in media production.
young people led the entire process—from planning to filming and editing—learning valuable skills in storytelling, teamwork, and media. They connected with local community members, including The Inns Court Residents Group, Knowle West Media Centre, and resident Nick, who runs the Premier shop in Inns Court.
We’re incredibly proud of what they created; you can watch the video bellow
A huge thank you to youth moves for supporting the filming, and to HAF for funding the project. These sessions are vital—they provide access to youth work, creativity, hot meals, and open doors to new experiences, learning, and community connection.
